Floyd Rose Upgrades help needed

Hey dudes,

I got a great deal on a new Charvel Henric Danhage, but being the obsessed type I was wondering if upgrades to the 1000's series floyd are worth it. Was thinking I could just get a Floyd 1984 and call it. a day. Any thoughts from people who have gone down this rabbit hole are greatly appreciated! Its killer as is and I will say I have had MANY CS charvels and this hangs!

I personally like the 1000 series. my only complaint, is that the knife edges on the two guitars that I owned, that were equipped with these, wore out rather quickly for me.

There is no upgrade once you get the 1984. Just get it and be done with it. Buy once, cry once.
