Flying V vs explorer style guitars

I am primarily a strat guy, however I own a gibson v and a kramer star.
Both the v and the star are fine sitting down.
The v you just rest it on your leg in my opinion?
I will say I feel like standing v, explorer or stR are more flat then a strat style which is weird to me ?
 
I think Vs are super comfortable to play sitting down, I guess I'm in the minority here ?
No, you are informed/experienced.

The majority opinion of the informed/experienced crowd is they are among the best models to play seated (and standing due to their weight).

The majority opinion of the uninformed/clueless crowd is that they are hard or impossible to play sitting down.

To clarify what might be stated vaguely:

One does NOT place the lower/treble wing on top of the right thigh (for RH players) like one would a strat.

One DOES place the lower/treble wing in between the legs and may also have the tip rest behind the calf for even more stability if desired. This is similar to the “classical guitar” position.
