California Democrats Block Bill Making Child Sex Trafficking a Felony​

The legislation would have made human trafficking of a minor subject to California’s Three Strikes Law.

Under the law, someone convicted twice could be sentenced to life in prison.

The bill had already passed unanimously in the State Senate.

However, not even one of the six Democrats on the committee would vote on the bill.

The only yes votes were cast by two Republicans, Assemblymen Juan Alanis and Tom Lackey.

Los Angeles Democrat Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer, the Assembly Public Safety Committee’s chairman, opposed the bill.

Her reaction though seemed pretty damn real, I thought, as she seemed to be devastated and rightfully so.

I've got mixed feelings about this new trend of these pedo hunter-type videos - I'm all for them being busted (at the very least) and wish they could go way beyond that, but purposely doing this just for clicks and likes knowing nothing is going to happen (Rosen comes to mind at times) due to the laws in whatever area they're filmed is slimy as fuck. It's good they're exposed but knowingly profiting off of this be it through money or attention when you know they won't be busted is despicable - turn your evidence over to the cops so they can build a case and chat with them so they can be arrested, charged, and prosecuted instead of just posting videos for social media clout and to drive traffic to your videos and site or what have you.
