I have a guitar with a purpleheart fretboard with ebony inlays, and the purpleheart has faded to brown making it hard sometimes to tell where I'm at. What can I do to brighten the purpleheart back up to purple?

You guys are totally missing the point. I want actual answers on how to fix what is on there.

I saw this on IG a few hours ago. A couple of different colors of wood stain will really make those two different wood colors pop. Or some tongue oil.

Purple heart does that over time.
May try a bit of purple wood stain mixed with thinner.
Start light and darken as needed since you cant go back the other way.
