Fortin-modded TS-9 on the way!

So, I actually wanted to try the Maxon when they were announced, and got on the waiting list, (never happened).. Very few were made, and Maxon/Godlyke ended up parting ways anyway..

2 weeks ago, I get an email from Godlyke that they're taking pre-orders for 100 Fortin-modded TS-9's, and shipping early February, and I was on the list. I thought, what the hell.. If they run into shortages, and only 100 get made, I can sell it on Reverb for $1000..🤣

Seriously though.. I love the Hex Drive, and thats about the only Fortin drive pedal that's done anything for me. Hoping this one is in that ballpark with more level on tap to really push the Runt 50.

I'm in on this 100. It was supposed to ship 1st week of Feb (now). Did you get a tracking # yet? I did not...I look everyday lol

Yes, yesterday. I did talk to them last week just checking on it, and they told me they were making shipments into this week on the tail end of the 100. I'd suspect you'll see tracking by week's end.

They told me this batch would roll into the second week of February, (this week).
 
oh, tracking number just appeared...shipping!
 
Mine landed this morning, jammed it for 10 minutes. LOVE IT!
 
Pretty sure it's the ole "Guy buys a bunch and posts them at inflated prices hoping someone buys so it establishes a market so he can sell more at that price"
 
I am excited for you guys. I had the hex drive, and it was a good pedal. At the end of the day, I liked my 808 better, but there was nothing wrong witht he hex. I bet this is even better.
 
I bought one of the original Maxon OD9 run and just got the TS9 also. I collect boosts, but Mainly just wanted to see if I could notice any difference. I will say that the Ibanez TS9 seems to be brighter with a touch more output. I'm sure the schematic and parts are nearly, if not completely identical so this could just be due to parts tolerances. Think I prefer the Maxon as it sounds like it has a touch more body to the tone.
 
I want to hate this thing so bad because I hate fortin with a passion, but maybe it’s sick??? Let’s hear it! I’ll be open minded I swear!
 
USPS screws me again! Its been sitting at the Post Office next city over for 2 days and was supposed to be delivered today. 😡

I had a Hex Drive and thought it was good too, but sold it a while ago. I am way more impressed with the Fortin 808. IMO the Hex Drive is a decent pedal and the Fortin Maxon is a fantastic pedal (my 2nd favorite boost I've had)

I dislike Fortin's as much as you do (sold the 33, Grind, Hex Drive, Fuzz and have tried the Natas and Meshuggah amps), but this Fortin Maxon is my overall 2nd favorite boost I've ever had (I've been through over 140 with 5 keepers). I bought it just to scratch the itch (I like to try them all), but this is a keeper. I'm even currently borrowing a real vintage Ibanez 808 and OD9 from a friend and am enjoying this Fortin one way more. It's the only Fortin product that's won me over so far
