Guitar players are in a weird place when we start getting $4k preorders for amplifiers themed to coincide with particular holidays.

Yeah 3k was my cut off for this. I’ll wait to try it used to see what’s up.I was mildly interested at $2,500. If the price is indeed $4,000 and they aren’t even in stock, then I think I’m definitely not interested anymore. I’ll save my money and get the PRS MT100 here in a few weeks.
Build by Victory amps aka assembled in china and put into headhsell in UK lolYeah 3k was my cut off for this. I’ll wait to try it used to see what’s up.
Jason's demo is here. I think it sounds killer and has a really cool feature set. I don't know if I can pony up $4k for it though.
Edit - after shipping and tax, you're looking at $4,400+. That is a chunk of fucking dough.

I'm actually surprised wit the amp. I kind of like it.
I wish it was priced a bit better. As an example, EVH 5153 are built in Mexico, but they do sound phenomenal, and they are priced accordingly.
If it wasn't built overseas, price would be actually not bad, considering all the features the amp has.
I still think my Hermansson and Cameron amps do sound way better, but assuming it sounds a bit close to what it shows in the video, it's not a bad amp. Would not buy one tho. Again, my Cameron and Hermansson amps are still reigning absolute.
I really like the bait and switch. I received an email that I can get 10% off my first purchase within 24 hours. Since I’ve never bought a new Fortin product, I figured I’d see if it worked for the Pumpkin amp. Nope, Reverb doesn’t have his 10% off code. I’m gonna pass on the $4k Chinese amp.

I’m telling you this video sounds identical to how I set up my Satan 120 . It’s cool but I guess I was expecting clips like the one they made at NAMM . Sounded like a new amp thenI'm actually surprised wit the amp. I kind of like it.

I thought the beef with this amp was that it was actually made in China and assembled in the UK?Yeah it's supposedly made in the UK but... for $4400 all in not interested.

Pricepoint around or leas that of MKVII would be okay if built in USA.I'm actually surprised wit the amp. I kind of like it.

Victory amps were definately half assembled in China, which is ok at their price point. That was the speculation, but there's been nothing in the way of evidence to actually back that up beyond people ranting. IIRC it's made by the same place in the UK that is doing Victory and Dover amps
Typical Fartin business model. They're also screwing with the quantities as when I got an email there were none on reverb and people were saying they already sold out but now the limited run is magically back in stock.
