It looks extra fake on that one. The wood is still blonde and fresh wear your arm would rest. It'd be dark and nasty with shrunk up grain from the beer sweat if it was legit.

irrespective my brain just hurts for $4k for a bolt on tele with one pickup

these manufacturers have been laughing all the way to the bank!
 
We are all going to need to get used to these prices. Shit is only going to get way more expensive.
