Frank Marino&Mahogany Rush: "She`s not there/Crossroads/She`s not there" 2001

If you're allowed to share, how did you get to speak to him personally ?
I don’t mind one bit. I am in the process of converting to orthodoxy and my brother from another mother on here is very good friends with him. Anyway Frank is orthodox and asked our mutual friend if he could call me and talk about my decision and possibly answer some questions. So next thing I know I have the Frank Marino calling me. We spoke for about 20-30 minutes and it was just a wonderful experience. That man is the salt of the earth and just kind and humble. To take time out of his life to speak with a complete stranger….especially one in another country…just blows my mind. To say I was star struck would be an understatement. However he has an ability to put you at ease while speaking so after my initial shock it was literally like speaking to a friend that you have not seen in awhile…

At the moment I'm using them into the Mesa MK VII Crunch channel. Sounds awesome. I'll have to make a clip.
This was when I got the Dragonfly. Kinda like an OD/Distortion. Into the PRS Hendrix head cranked thru a Power Station. With some flange then Vibe.

Dude, that's great playing and tone! Frank really did nail it with the Dragonfly pedal.

That's quite interesting Steve. It sounds like he walks the walk.
I wonder what ailment has sidelined Frank? He did a radio interview about a year or so back and it kind of sounded like he had to have surgery and he wasn't sure if he'd ever play again.

I saw in a video where he damaged a finger building pedals and had to have surgery. Not sure if that was it or not….

I was wondering why my nipples got so hard. Then I came on here and saw someone had mentioned mahogany; that explains a lot.
