I hate to break it to you but he jewish Talmud is just as pitiful in regards to a lot of similar issues. Maybe she should do a cartoon depicting a mohel rabbi sucking blood off the foreskin orally in a jewish circumcision, Metzitzah b'peh.

It's freedom of speech but it's not very Christ like or loving. I would say it doesn't benefit anyone other than someone getting a laugh at the expense of another, which isn't loving one's neighbor. We are all guilty of such things but encouraging them, or putting a stamp of approval on it, isn't something we should be doing IMO. I can tell someone they ought not but I can't tell them they cannot I guess.

Well the lady who made the Bezos cartoon wasn't being christlike or loving.

As to her 1st amendment rights, they don't extend to the point her employers have to allow anything. If I was running that shitbox of a rag I'd have let her do it though. USA Today allows Rex Huppke to bloviate ridiculously so WTF ?

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. My point is that you don't hate Jews or Christians even though both invoke their faith to commit heinous acts and even though their religious texts have similarly objectionable passages. You have heard me criticize Israel, and then called me an antisemite, even though I have never said I hate Jews or that Judaism is evil. Yet here you are calling the faith of 1.5 billion people evil and calling them names. That's plain old regressive, red necked bigotry.

Some of his followers want to kill me because of blowback from US activity in the mideast, the formation of the state of Israel and ongoing Palestine conflict. I'm caught in the middle. It has nothing to do with Islam mullah Floyd. The people that live there are Muslims and rally around their religion just like Americans rally around Christianity in the face of conflict. I don't even blame Judaism for Israel's genocide, even though leaders have cited the Bible and even though American evangelicals condone it for that reason.

And Christians and Jews quit doing that shit a few centuries ago. Muslims are still at it. One just killed 15 people last week in New Orleans. And if you think the "Refugee" movements across Europe, North America and Australia are just poor people looking for a better life, you're in a mental institution.

I don't watch Fox news. Or even have cable. I've been to Europe twice and on my first trip there met a Turk ( Muslim incidentally) who befriended me and saved my ass a few times in Amsterdam. I still talk to him occasionally. Or I did until a few years ago. He's a Dutch national, but I think he went back to Turkey and joined the military. If you're interested he treated his wife like property. Other than that he seemed like a pretty normal dude. This was right after 9/11 and he wanted me to know that not all Muslims hate westerners.

I also left home at 15, lived a few years in Los Angeles in the 80s, hanging on the strip and in Long Beach, occasionally with a few different guys who went on to become very famous, at least until their lead singer died. I lived for awhile in Tampa in a flop house in the room next to a couple guys from Morbid Angel.

I may live out of the way a bit, but I'm not a redneck, although I am surrounded by them and much more comfortable with them than I am with city people. I am fairly well educated, make surprisingly good money, drive a Lexus, have a beautiful wife, a couple houses, a back yard full of wildlife I feed and a pair of cats I love way more than any people I know.

The internet is funny. And misleading. In any case, if you're ever in Missouri hit me up. I'll buy you a beer and we'll force our way into one of Japetus' 5:30 dinners.

Christians used the Bible to justify the African slave trade. These books will be interpreted to justify whatever agenda is desired. I am not defending Islam, I am pointed out the bias to say that Islam is uniquely and inherently evil because of what the Koran says or what some of it's adherents claim and do.

Where are you hearing any Muslims say this, that they should kill the infidel and/or take the infidel as slaves? Again, there are some 5 million here in the US, and 1.5B+ around the world.
