I emailed Dave this morning at 4 am asking a question that had nothing to do with anything he makes. There was absolutely nothing in it for him, and in a few hours on a Saturday no less, I get a full answer.

They are always fast to communicate. I can't say enough great things about them.

its all Dave, there is literally no one else who has access to the email address. An army of one, ready to talk/chat amps at any hour of the day/night lol

he's always there to help, can't say enough good things about the dude
 
I shipped a Marshall to Dave back around 2011 to get some mods done. The delivery service busted up the headshell during shipping. When he was ready to send it back to me with the mods, he told me that he fixed the broken headshell and didn't charge me for it.

Prior to getting the mods done, I talked to him on the phone and he was really genuine and laid back, explaining the mods, etc. Great guy and I definitely feel like he knows tone and how to treat someone.

U mean its not scammeron ? but mc makes "sucker-free" gear and he sells 30K in 5 minutes heard it on teH interwebs.

i could not like this comment enough, it doesn't matter who you are, dave treats you like a rockstar no matter what

his absolute ability to stay down to earth despite his immense success is incredible!
 
Ya, Dave is awesome. A few years ago I picked up a 2017 BE 100 and it never came with a footswitch. I emailed Friedman to see what it would cost to get a new one.

Was surprised it was the man himself who answered. He asked me how I liked the amp and we chatted shop a bit. Then had BAD send me a knew footswitch, free of charge....on a used amp!! Definitely a good dude!

I have an older be100, and a couple years ago the loop started acting up, so I emailed Dave.
Said I was pretty good with an iron, and rather than ship my amp to him from Toronto, could I just get a new loop board shipped up?
A week later, the loop board shows up.
Along with the loop, he also sent me a big bag of Synergy caps and a pre-wired structure switch assembly, so I could upgrade my amp to the latest version. ( my amp had Mallory caps and no structure switch )
We never talked about anything other than the loop, so he must have gone out of his way to check which version I had from the serial #, and then arrange to have all the upgrade parts shipped out with the loop board.
To say I was blown away would be an understatement, but that's just how he rolls.
Total class act all the way!
 
Dave is super helpful, and responds really fast to emails. I also had an early hand wired BE, from 2011 I think? Something went poof and smoke out the back, I shut her down and emailed Dave...he said it was probably a screen resistor and told me where it was and what kind to buy....offered to send me a few too..how cool is that. It was exactly that resistor; and I was able to grab some locally and the amp was good to go in no time.
Great guy; and he'll continue to be successful with that type of customer service.
