fucking awsome dude! Get some clips and pics! i want to hear that baby!!

Ive been in touch with Mark Over the passed few days, I love talking to Mark bout gear! Fucking awsome!! haha.... Goodluck with the amp i got a jose/ccv on the way , dying to get it !

 I agree. Mark tried to call me at work 2 days ago but I was closed atteneding a funeral for my friends mom that died so I missed his call. He left 2 messages about talking to me and info on this amp. COOL ! I look forward to talking to him about gear also. I will tell you this. I have only had a small bit of time with this amp, but IT has what I call the Meanest gain, most pissed off gain, I have ever experienced. I own several other high dollar amps, But I know right off the bat, Like the Elmwood has a smooth gain, useable for all situations, and capable of being morphed into many different styles, yet with that same perfect smoothness. The cameron modded marshall I just got, IS PISSED! Mean and angry! My 1st thoughts are with the added control for the added bottom end cut all the way off, it is a lightning rod marshall on steriods and VIAGRA! With the contour/bottom control set at about noon, the amp IS A BIKER set on revenge mode! It will stomp your guts out! If you are in the room, then YOU MUST BE GUILTY! And it wants to hurt you.   But I need alot more time with it! Oh yeah, I still got channel one, the regular plexi channel. :student:

I have been doing live sound for many years, and now do quite a bit of recording. I have seen many many amplifiers and had the pleasure to work with many great artists with incredible setups. Last year at namm i witnessed in person what Marks Amps where about. Hands down , much like you said, the most angry , pissed, yet TIGHT and punchy sounding amps... the feel is seriously perfect, not to stiff , not to saggy, So easy to play... Just truely the beefiest and most beautiful sounding amps ive ever heard....... Goodluck with your amp dude!

 I just wanted to stop in and give a public nod of approval to Jason, Velcro fly, Rob at Seaside music, and Mark Cameron for being honest and helpful as far as this amp goes. I ended up getting to buy this amp and I tried it out this morning at work at the office for about 35 minutes. I keep a vintage marshall 4-12 cab witn v-30's there, since that cab does not fit into my already over crowded studio . So, I still need to figure out alot, but, Channel 1 on the top input is a marshall plexi for sure. The bottom 2 channel inputs don't work at all, I assume they were dis-connected by Mark. He called me at work Thursday afternoon, but I was closed to attend my friends Mom's funeral. Hope to talk to Mark soon. But hey Mark tried like hell to speak to me and give me info. He left me a couple of messsages on the amp. Thanks Dude! So The top channel input for channel 2, YEAH! :D There it is. This is where ya go for A HELL OF ALOT OF GAIN. Like I said, I need to spend a good bit more time with this amp, but it does some CRAZY SERIOUS GAIN PRODUCTION. :worship: I thought that the extra control at the original jewel light spot was a contour control for the bottom end?? Or the ocean mod control atleast that is what it seemed to change for the brief few minutes I screwed with it. I think the gain control was the far right volume control. ??? I had to leave it at work until tomorrow so I don't have it here to look at for any visuals. Hey in closing I WANT TO ONCE AGAIN THANK ALL THESE GUYS, I BOUGHT THIS AMP, IT CAME IN THE CONDITION COSMETICALLY THEY SAID IT WAS AND OR WOULD AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS AND FUNCTIONS. Now I got to work with it and dial it in and I will be able to know and experience what a select few of you guys already know. MARK'S WORK IS INCREDIBLE! that I already know from just 35 MINUTES! Thanks guys! Now I wait for amp number two! TICK TOCK! :rawk:

Awesome, glad it worked out

Yeah, the lower 2 inputs are no longer connected to anything...

Yeah Part 2. - that is a seriously pissed off little 50 watter...

Also, it needs the chicken head knobs because without them it can't possibly be a real Cameron

+1 on Mark's amps and work. I have owned a Splawn Nitro before and it also has it's own territory carved out in a good kinda way. But for TRUELY RAIL HOT, WHITE HOT TONE, Mark has got some things figured out nobody else knows as of yet. :jedi: :force: I have not tried the Wizards yet and maybe they have the closest thing going to Mark's stuff. I like what Bogner does with his stuff, and would consider those another close choice, yet still not the same. But they in their own kinda way are worth every penny. ;) AAAAHHHHH! But when the day is over, when it's just you and your gear, if ya look up and you own a cameron amp, then you know what I am talking about. :2thumbsup:

 Yeah, Darr, we both had the nitro at the same time. I went to Elmwood modena 60's and you went to Engl SE's with the EL34 tubes. After a couple other runs with different amps You landed your Cameron Plexi first. It was actually one that I was after a good while back but the timing was not right when it popped up. You got lucky. I watched this one that I got and even though this one is 50 watts, with the bottom control and the two mods Mark put in it. It is huge, loud, and angry.  So I am glad as of the typing of this post I bought it. I have no F'king doubt that one of Mark's CCV's or a CCM's would rule. I will collect two or three of the amps with his work and then I will know what I already know. :worship: Hollywood.............

Well if a fellow wanted to knob out, you got him covered. ;) I think I will leave the amp alone. If I go and change the knobs or wipe it off to clean it, it will lose it's value and not be a Cameron amp anymore.    But I could ship it all the way back to Mark to get the Knobs changed???? \:D/ Then it would still be a Cameron amp. Only if I got a letter of authenticity from Mark. LMAO! :hys:

Hollywood what was your take on the modena m60, I have a hg jose cameron and it kills but I always wanted to try a m60.

Congrats hollywood! Glad you enjoying the amp!! Awesome yes!!

Ya.. I will talk Elmwood and Cameron! Elmwood m60. does all my cleans and mid dirty stuff.. I just add my Camron to the mix for the leads and vol jump.. and man they sound excellent together!! I think the elmwood gets compressed tones better, but the cameron at the same OD or higher isn't really too compressed and has nice balanced projection with a lot of harmonic content and Karrang!! I use the m60 for versatility and A/B with a Cameron JCM800. Freaking rocks together..

Ya know both these amps are just such completely different animals. I have the Elmwood modena 60 with el-34's and I have the 50 watt plexi with the cameron mods Ocean and aldrich, also with the el-34's. The Elmwood will cover all the, how shall I say? Polite gain, a guitar player could ever want. Very refined sounding to me. Smoothest sounding amp ever, I think  Now you take Mark's work. WHEW! ;) This amp I have is PISSED OFF, BOWED UP AND READY TO THROW DOWN. :boxer: the contour control seems to be the kicker when you are running through the amp in a hurry to get something drastic. I can't get over what I am getting from this amp.  Blows my damn mind. :worship: I agree with my buddy Hacksaw, both together are amazing. That's a rig that will make you smile like the Joker. :)

:cheers2: Thanks buddy! We will have to get together someday soon and run your amps and my amps. The ear doctors would be busy the next day for sure. :hys: :hys:

So my description was accurate?
+1  I think it looks better in person than in the pics. I think the knob at the jewel light spot is the bottom end contour, and the Master volume is one of the knobs on the right if I remember right. I just know it is a relief to finally get an amp in from anywhere that is not messed up in shipping or not what it should be. The last three amps before this one I got there was SOMETHING F'N wrong with them. So to finally get what I am supposed to get. \:D/ IS PURE RELIEF. :2thumbsup: Like I posted earlier, you, jason and rob and even what I have gotten from Mark. You guys CAN BE TRUSTED! THANKS FRIEND. ;)
