As someone else mentioned * I dont give a fuck*. I dont give a fuck either, if we are going to have seller/posting guidelines that ought to be FUCKING valid and apply to everyone, even Donny Fucking Osmond. If not what's the point. No disrespect to any seller or buyer but 50 post isnt like hard or anything unless you just dont give a FUCK.

TBH....This is just like my opinion but I don't think anyone gave a fuck to begin with. The 50 post rule was added within the last few years by the forum owner who no longer owns the forum.

50 Posts means nothing.

I would absolutely rather buy from someone who everyone knows. Like a long time regular with 2,000 + posts BUT anyone can spam 50 posts in a week.

51 posts is equivalent to 0 posts as far as I am concerned. Paypal has good protection and if you are scared then get references or don't buy.
Good points on all fronts. Again , why have anything in place if it isnt used? That eliminates any questions or need to discuss. Being grandfathered in was mentioned earlier, not sure what year that began as in reference to * this was just implemented a few years ago. I get it. Maybe it's just a mild scare tactic to keep some possible FS adds from getting posted. Plenty of protection even from your CC co. Or bank even. I never thought that was the real reason for 50 post. Maybe to eliminate bs postings and peeps not responding back to offers, etc... dunno be cool to clear the mystery

It looks like OP sold the amp or had someone say I will take it? So I dont feel bad about going way off topic

If not let me know and I will stop posting here but....I could be wrong but I THINK the rule was added because of the Nike bots maybe?
Maybe we can get this rolling like the * Rhoades tone or Fortin/Larry amp threads.. lol 13 pages and counting :D

Oh how I anticipate the day when some poor innocent dude posts a Larry for sale, he won’t know what the hell hit him.

Larry said he has gotten 5 since Feb 5th. Which is about when the drama started.

Drama sells boys and girls. Why do you think Zack kept dropping videos and adding fuel to the fire.

The sideways twist is that Larry and Mike Fortin are very good friends and laughing all the way to the bank right now.

4th post in the classifieds. Hmm . . .

FWIW, I bought a Cameron from this seller last week on TGP. Communication was great, shipping was fast and packed perfectly and the amp was exactly as-advertised.
Really?
I sent the guy multiple PM's shortly after he posted the amp saying ill take it, and it took forever for him to respond.
Communication sucked.

No dog in the fight but sure seems to be a good seller from my frame of reference.
I'm not questioning that the seller came though for you, Im just posting my experience with his communication skills (or should I say, the lack thereof) ;)

Sorry you slipped through the cracks of the system. Saying I got slammed when I posted both Camerons is a gross understatement. The problem replying to everyone was the 30 second delay required between EACH response. I had about 60 inquiries in the first 10 minutes. It went nuts and I could’t keep up with either the new inquiries or the replies asking additional questions. So, my communication may have sucked, but it wasn’t entirely my fault. I tried to respond, wait 30 seconds, respond, wait 30s, and on, and on... I gave up but had firm commitments very quickly in the first responses for both the Atomica and the CCV.

Edit: FWIW, some of the reactions and quick judgements posted are among the reasons I’ve heard why people quit visiting gear sites. I used to spend late nights browsing but rarely do so anymore. Originally I was thinking of offering for sale some of my more common amps along with a few of the rRer ones as I’m thinning the herd and deleting redundancy. In doing this, I had given thought to listing a few of the rarest amps ever made. As far as desirability goes, the Camerons are nothing compared to Trainwreck. But when people miss out on something they really wanted, they get butt-hurt and slam the seller like he or she is a sexual deviant who shoots puppies for fun while snacking on fried kittens. So, the site isn’t ready to try listing a Trainwreck or, if the time ever comes, my Dumble. The masses usually don’t get a chance at the truly great and rare so, I’ll just post the nice and nifty.

OP here,

No, the amp has not been sold. Many inquiries and a few say they want it, but still await the commitment to buy.

Wow, this thread took off, lol
Cool amp, GLWS.
You may get your 50 posts in just this thread!

Aggghhh....hate to post here again, lol

Someone emailed me asking to act as reference. Your email bounced back so please PM if you read this.

These older versions with the C transformer are the ones to get; for the most Marshall like mids. I had a 2010 and it was a beast like no other. Talked with guys who have had multiple Wizards and they felt the older C transformer versions had even more 'push' than the newer versions...just a tiny bit but they noticed it.
