I literally didn't vote for Offset because I weirdly don't consider mocks, RDs, thunderbirds, etc offsets :ROFLMAO:


I think of them all as "explorer" based shapes - just rounded off to various degrees


An offset to me is a Jazzmaster, Jaguar, or even a teisco del ray - IMO it can't be an "offset" if the bottom of the guitar is extended further than the top - but I know ibanez catalogues from the 70s disagree with me

It was a tough choice, but I like ALL explorer shapes, and even the chance for a sick mockingbird or RD isn't worth the risk of a Jazzmaster style body

Also the concerns about international stuff are frankly dumb. There is perhaps 30 seconds of paperwork at a post office, and a little bit of cost.

Shouldn't be too many issues. I've only excluded SA and Africa for now as I'm not familiar with every import law regarding wood. If a member lives on either of those continents and wants to give a rundown they're more than welcome to join.

Kind of related, but did y'all know that a lot of guitar manufactures used to import guitars without the electronics installed so they could mark them as acoustics and get around duties? Hagstrom, BC Rich, and even ESP off the top of my head.

Idk. I just cant take a lot of whining. I dont listen to it from my kids, and when a "man" does it, makes me want to smash his face. I was born in the wrong century, and i dont have soft edges, but damn it with this incessant bitching

No real "endgame". I'm not Thanos..... just saying the stipulations to the Giveaway don't make any sense at all..... maybe they could make sense for the next one and be easier for people to understand.



People who are members have to come in and repeatedly ask if they are members? When they are a member, how the hell would they be able to post if they werent....... Or just other things that kind of don't make sense with the stipulations. It shouldn't be so hard to understand.




Having said that I think it's cool and appreciate stuff like this even if I cant participate.

I'm just merely pointing out the "rules " don't make any common sense at all as is apparent. Nothing else and nothing more than that.


Having said that I think it's a cool giveaway and I appreciate stuff like this and it's cool.
