I have even dreamed about one

No fans? :scared:

I want to know more about this guitar any one got one?

They do nothing for me... Sorry.

Not to say they're not gorgeous and beautiful and all, but they're like anything else in the sense of GAS - the chase is always better than the catch.

i feel your pain, although mine is for a suhr modern, and it would tkae years to save up for it....

my modern has taught me 2 things, what am capable of, and how much more I need to learn...

I've tried just about every model of PRS and have yet to play one that I liked. They are pretty though.

We have had a few where I work and to me PRS just seem like GSO's....guitar shaped objects.
The tone of the pickups is always something leaving me wanting more and the overall generic feel of a PRS is just not something I'm into.

I will say out of all the multi $$$$$ guitars they make the Mira is the only one I like, and the only way I would ever consider buying one is if they got rid of the pickguard and made the heel the way the PRS guitars had it in the 80's

You would do much better buying a Suhr my friend! around the same price point, but to me the fretwork is far above a PRS

I use to own about 25 PRS guitars. None now. That being said, the 513 has a great neck shape and feel. But the fact that you can't swap pups (which I wasn't crazy about) made me sell it. But it did play very well.

i have to agree with all of this - never liked a PRS and the GSO is an excellent analogy as to why probably.

This for sure - Once you've played a Suhr, anything else just feels second rate including £4k PRS's

People are flipping them all the time. Picked mine up for $1800. Seems like a lot, but you can't find a half-way decent running car for that amount of money, the Suhr otoh will last you a lifetime, at least thats how I rationalized the purchase.

So you guys are trying to give me shur gas as well, I have been fighting that for a while.

Never played a PRS I liked - even remotely. They just feel too generic like the guy above me said. It doesn't scream right, it doesn't clean up right, it doesn't do anything - right...

Just not a liker!

I did like the few Parker Fly guitars I've played though. For some reason, they make sense :D

not a fan of the 513s. as opposed to shark diver, the neck just didn't sit well with me (but i have small hands) and of the 3 or 4 I did play none of them really turned me on. Always thought that they were a bit priced on the high side even for a PRS. and as shark diver said the pick ups is a big bummer.

Boof

I really like those finishes ... but every time I see a pretty PRS, I think HAMER USA! :D

LOL

Funny thing is though after doing this thread I am going of the idea of it now and I am back to Edwards gas ( a price range more acceptable to me at the moment)

Or just get another Edwards LP
