Getting real with the Blue Channel of the EVH 5150iii EL34 50w amp.....

Lots of folks have complained about the blue channel on the EVH 5150iii EL34 50 watt amp. Why? I'm not sure but I think it's mostly because it doesn't sound like the blue channel on the 5150iii 6L6 version. And guess what? It's not supposed to. This amp actually gives you 3 differently voiced, usable channels. Our friend, the blue channel, seems to want to be more like the old school Marshalls that Edward built his early Van Halen tone on. We're going to focus on just the Blue channel and explore all the tones that it can serve up.
