With my cabin property I'm lucky that there are 4 sources of year-round spring water. I also have a fairly new outhouse, an older outhouse (for two) down by the river, and a very old one that probably has not been used in 20 years, but now hard to access.

Some schedule 40 and a 55 gallon drum and I can, and have, build/ built a very inexpensive and effective septic system on unimproved properties.
