Gibson Les Paul Classic?

They are definitely skinny. I could never play them for too long without getting left hand discomfort. But I prefer a nice rounded C neck and don’t like Wizard or Jackson neck’s either. I would have really dug an all gold one but the neck was a deal breaker.
Yeah, I've been reading some measure as thin as 19mm. That is pretty much in the Wizard II territory. I'm going to keep an eye out for one of those!

Classics are my favorite. But I see a lot of 2019+ classics used, makes me think something’s up with them; but maybe not.

OP... I hope this pic motivates you to get one of these. You'll love it. Bridge 61T pup can be a little bright so just roll the tone down to 6-7. I was fortunate to pick this up new prior to 2 price increases. Actually it was a x-mas present from the wife.

I picked up a Classic back in 2020.. absolutely love the guitar. I actually really like the T61/R61 pickups. for my playing style/tone, they had the volume and gain without an issue. only 2 things I've done to the guitar are replacing factory Grover Tuners with Grover locking Tuners and install a String Butler. Sticker from Pick Guard removed.. haha

2020 Gibson LP Classic

Beautiful guitar my friend.

That red one is gorgeous!

Those ABR-1's aren't really ABR-1's, are they? I mean, they mount using studs and inserts? Because I can usually use the added room of Nashville bridges for intonating heavy strings and low tunings.

I picked up my ‘00 Gibson Classic Premium Plus Trans Amber a couple a years ago in mint condition for $1500.

I love everything about it.

I have a lot of other guitars in my collection, so I’m leaving it stock, and enjoying it for what it is.

I've been watching GC used for a Classic.
Goldtop
P90's
Weight relieved
Slim taper neck.

All the ingredients I am looking for...

I like SG's, just kind of more case-specific. I prefer Les Pauls overall.

I like ESP's as well, but they just don't sound the same as Gibsons for some reason.

No problem at all. My Tribute I think is more chambered insided, and it sounds killer.

Not saying there's anything wrong with Cherry Burst, but I'd rather have it be black or red for my taste. That's why I'm looking at Classics rather than Standards.

Because I like the feel of satin finishes in Gibsons. So for the same price of a Classic, I could get a Standard Faded with a nice top. But I just don't gel with burst finishes. I don't know. I think I can live with black rim borders in a burst finish. It's just the red to orange to yellow fade that I don't gel with.
I think they still do a black standard. I went with a gold top when I bought mine.
