AMEN!Yep, same
I don't even watch gear youtube unless it's something rare i'm super interested in AND it's linked here for a specific discussion topic - even then, i'm not watching the video in the op because i'm not interested in buying a studio lol
Seriously how many amps do we need to hear through the same Mesa oversize IR?
How many godawful "full tracks" do we need to hear with steven slate drums?
How many EVH BROWN SOUND SECRET videos do we need to hear?
I just don't care man - i've reached maximum capacity for boring gear youtube
I like both.
There's something badass about a beat to shit guitar, and theres something badass about blinged out guitars.
There's just nothing badass about headless ergonomic guitars (sorry lisa )
I probably wouldn't use one live, tbh. Well, maybe a Spectre.

I can't do it love, it's too ugly

They've now designated the "real" Les Paul's for the retired/wealthy that most can't afford. They found a way to make their lower-mid tier guitar look like one they can't afford, all the while upping the price as a result. IMO.It seems like Gibson is forever missing the point of their own guitar.
The Les Paul Studio, as I understand it, is designed to play and sound like a Standard without the aesthetic appointments. A Studio with binding makes about as much sense to me as a solid body 335 would.
You’re not supposed to count the dollar sign and everything to the right of the decimalI actually have a real job. It's a six figure IT job that I'm retiring from this year.
I actually have a real job. It's a six figure IT job that I'm retiring from this year. I make about $15-40 per video, so salute when you see me, Staff Sergeant.
I enjoy it!I personally dislike the way binding feels on a fretboard but I know many enjoy it.
Oh I get it. My channel is borderline parody of the YT guitar douche environment@GearGasms - I'm just teasing you about the big black cock thing. I am just burned out on YouTube "influencers."
