I'd rock it a lot sooner than I would play a floyd rose bolt on

Knowing gibson, they're probably 7 thousand dollars though

The company has a few of the most legendary guitar designs and they choose to do these instead of manufacturing the legendary ones with some quality control? Insanity.

Maybe if the pickguard was smaller, 22 frets and the pots were mounted on the body like an SG. I think it would look good in Alpine White. But as is I'll pass.

I used to have one of the early 80s bass versions of these.
That looks more like a Q model to me.
I actually liked some of the tulip ones, but not this one so much.
Perhaps if it was neckthrough and a bit more modern.

I don't dislike them as much as most people here, but I certainly wouldn't buy one. Looks super dated.

That green finish would look great on a Les Paul.

Would also look much better with cream plastics, black pickups, and black nobs.

This thing needs to be a neckthrough.
No binding.
No inlays.
No pick guard.
And also an Explorer.

The pickguard does kind of have a cool batwing look to it.
