They aren't terrible pickups, just don't feel like those would be the best fit for this particular guitar.
Not sure if you're trolling with those suggestions or just don't have a lot of experience with high gain forums.
Sure, you can use the argument of blah blah blah, but feeling like this build is probably not leaning toward being plugged into your tweed amp.

The Pearly Gates Plus isn't particularly meant for high gain but it sounds pretty nice using higher gain from memory into a Vintage Modern or something like a 5150. It's also a pup you can get only through special order from Duncan and a bit nicer than your typical Pearly Gates.


An Alnico Pro 2 again maybe not meant for thrash metal but not a bad sounding pup and I imagine an antiquity version is even better too. JB yeah generic but offers a good amount of output and I imagine a antiquity is nicer too.


I honestly figured those would be nice options to consider IME.
