Cool guitar, David makes incredible guitars. I have a DJ+ I ordered in 2012 received in 2014, I might be interested in trading for your Star if you are interested. It's optioned out as a G5, but I wanted the DJ+ neck profile. It is the first guitar of his ever ordered with the reverse G5 headstock. I have the email showing the pencil drawing of how it would look in reverse. It has a natural Diamond grade old growth Redwood top with flame maple binding on the body, neck, and headstock, which was also a first for him. It has a flat top because of the wood binding. It has a Birdseye maple fretboard with a Redwood purfling border to separate the Birdseye from the flamed maple binding, and Redwood inlays. It has a Flat mount bridge which makes for a better sounding guitar. My midlife crisis requires non Strat shaped wang bar equipped guitars.
