yep. Xotic BB Preamp w/ nearly all modules sounds fantastic. I use it as a slight gain bump / semi-dirty clean boost.
Gain at 8 oclock...volume at noon...bass at 2 oclock...treble at 11 oclock. I have tried tons of pedals...and that is definitely the one for me. I use it in front of all my modules...with GREAT results. COD, VX, Scorch, XTC...all sound great...as well as my PT100 clean tone and such. Takes a clean tone into texas blues territory...but also takes my Scorch into Killswitch Engage territory. Most versatile dirt box I've ever owned. That's why I have one on each pedal board!

I believe the BB only has Treble and Bass tone controls? Does it naturally give you a bit of a bump in your mids when you put it in front of the Eggie modules? I am primarily going to use whatever pedal I decide on as a boost in front of my SL and SL2 to use for leads, with the aim of getting a nice volume boost and mid-bump to fatten up the tone and get it to cut in the mix a little better, as well as push the module to really break up and have killer (read: infinite) sustain. You think this will achieve that result?
Thanks again!
BTW - Glad to see you're back! I haven't seen you posting around Rig Talk much lately?....
