Congratulations! I have the 101B and slant Bogner 4x12 with V30's and its a killer amp. I go back and forth between the red and blue channels... they are close but most of the time I like the blue channel a hair better.

Where do you guys run the Pre-EQ and Excursion most of the time? Also, do you find Presence B is more aggressive sounding?

You can have a lot of fun dicking with all the options but this is where mine is at the moment

switches from left to right

Excursion A = M
Excursion B = T
Pres B = T
Gain Boost CH1 = L
Pre EQ 1 = B2
Plexi = O
Structure = H
Gain Boost 2&3 = L
Pre EQ ch3 = B2
Pre EQ ch3 = B1

on the back I have it 1/2 power mode and on the old mode.

This can sing at low to moderate volume levels as well

Is anyone else annoyed with the hiss added when you switch the Red channel pre-EQ to B1 or B2? And the Red channel squeels if I have the gain above 12:00 with B1 or B2 selected at performance volume. I have a brand new '07 model. I have to keep Red on Normal EQ, 'cause I can't stand the hiss. Makes me appreciate my Diezel. Dead silent on any setting.

Also, I think I hate the Bogner V30 cab with it. Very bitey. Anyone play theirs with all Greenbacks? I'm thinking of buying a set.

I haven't noticed it that much? Maybe it's because my IV was quite hissy.

I wish I never sold my Bogner, I think it went to Daver101.
I should of just swapped out the V'30s and probably wouldn't of went through all the amps I have.

You probably have a microphonic preamp tube, that's not normal.

I pulled the V30's out of my Bogner cab, and replaced them with blackbacks and was MUCH happier.

That's great to hear about the speakers. I'll definately switch my V30's for Greens. I guess I'll look into the tube for the microphonics. They're only a week old though. How 'bout the hiss on the B1/B2 settings on Red? Think that's a tube also?

COOL, you got it!!! Here's a pic of mine with my G12H30 loaded cab. I usually gig out with this cab, and rehearse with my other Splawn 4x12 loaded with Greenbacks.
