Sounds fantastic, as I tilt my hat over my eyes haha
That's the way to goThat’s what I’m going for!
Lenz octane is a badass amp that does a take on a rectifier with a turretboard construction i believe. That is the next one on my listany recommendation which stock amp could give me such a tone? This is awesome! Jucy, thick, nice sizzle in the highs but with a modern clarity....i feel like most newer amps all have the same hollow high mids and smooth high end which is not my thing.
Like smashed said, I think the Lenz Octane would be thisany recommendation which stock amp could give me such a tone? This is awesome! I’ve never played the lenz octane so can’t speak on that one. It does sound killer. But @RedPlated mods are very affordable and you can find a used rev g or tremoverb fairly cheap now. I bought this one and had it shipped straight to him.any recommendation which stock amp could give me such a tone? This is awesome! I am a huge fan of what he is doing.I’ve never played the lenz octane so can’t speak on that one. It does sound killer. But @RedPlated mods are very affordable and you can find a used rev g or tremoverb fairly cheap now. I bought this one and had it shipped straight to him.
If you are in germany, it is a no brainer.Yeah might be a cheap option when living in the US. I am living in Germany so getting that stuff shipped + custody is not a option.
Don't know about the octane. I mean, i am interested in that one, but in clips it rather sounded like that clean midrange thing to me rather than the jucy, saturated tone
Got this one a while back. Forgot how sick it is. Really dig how it actually still sounds like a rectifier. Jeremy is great at what he does, and is awesome to work with.
I think reza shows the amp better for me than eddie himself. Eddie is a monster player and can dial things in, but reza plays things a lot closer to my style
For me, i love the recto sound. I was never impressed with build quality so i avoided. Eddie has a clean as fuck build so it is hard to resistIt’s been my favorite recto type amp I’ve played so far besides a real Rev C
If I was in Germany I’d personally look for a used dual rec or bogner uberschall. Then get a boost and be good to go. It’s really hard to be. It sounds like you have the same taste in mid range as I do, the hollow ish stuff is just not my deal. I think rectos and Ubers get it right with sounding scooped but full at the same time.Yeah might be a cheap option when living in the US. I have a feeling they’d be up your alley. I like my Lenz Hot Chili just as much for more of an ‘80’s Marshall-y flavorFor me, i love the recto sound. I was never impressed with build quality so i avoided. Eddie has a clean as fuck build so it is hard to resist
Yeah. I was about to buy one of those, and eddie took too long to get back to me and i ended up with mgl. I think i won that one, but damn that octane seems coolI have a feeling they’d be up your alley. I like my Lenz Hot Chili just as much for more of an ‘80’s Marshall-y flavor
Don't know if i would call that a no brainer considering the 3800 euro price tag on a high octaneIf you are in germany, it is a no brainer.
