Just Curious, What is everyone using?

I used to use the Dunlop Tortex .60mm (The Orange ones) but now I've graduated to a "Big Boy" Pick Dunlop Tortex .73mm (Yellow ones)

I use 0.81mm celluloid picks from Grover Allman for electric. The very few occasions where I play acoustic, I use the 0.73mm Dunlop Tortex.

I can get down with any picks, but I always go back to Jazz IIIs. I cut out the back part of them to give my finger some extra grip so it won't slip out. That's just me though, I'm weird.

1.5mm Dunlop tortex sharps. It's like a brick with a sharp tip. I use an ice pick to score an X in the sides for gripping. Nobody likes using my pics.

Petrucci picks, black with grip tape. 20 years and I still can't hold a pick. Hence the grip tape.

.80 Clayton ultem. They are stiff, without being thick, pick slides sound awesome and there is this crispness about them. I was using planet waves 1.0 celluloid, they glide good across strings, but I was going through one every practice. They wear down fast. The Ultem last a long ass time.

Clayton Ultem Small Teardrop Picks .94mm!
I'd previously been playing Clayton Acetal Small Teardrop Picks .80mm for over 20 years!
I tried these Ultem on a whim and they sound SO much better!
More edge and attack. The Acetal sound thuddy and dark in comparison!

I've been using Snarling Dogs Brain Picks for a long time .73mm and 1mm. They were one of the few that did the textured pick years and years ago. I've been meaning to try more out with grippy textures.

I've tried em all and just end back up with Fender Heavy's. I just bought a bag of 144 of the purple ones.

Dunlop Ultex sharp .90 (used jazz 3's for years but this is a little bigger to hold on to and the tip is very similar)

Nothing sounds and feels more natural than tortex. I like the jazz III sharps .88 or maybe a little heavier.

1.5 Gator Grips ...

A hammer, an anvil, and a grinder... cost me 25 cents ;)
