I was never really into Slipknot, but i find the Tone Talk interesting. They are Gear-Nerds too.

I'm new to Slipknot honestly.
Always thought they were a gimmick so I wrote them off.
Now I'm a huge fan. They are a lot better (guitar and drums) than people give credit.
I will check this out tomorrow during the superbowl halftime.

I didn’t like then until album 3 .

Yeah the first album I liked, Iowa had a couple cool songs but I thought sounded like shit, and after was just nah

I don’t know about that, they have to be the biggest metal band in the last 25 years I think, Joey jordison still wins pretty much every best metal drummer poll I see. I was the opposite though, I loved the gimmick but just thought they were kind of overrated, but I was entrenched in death metal back then so as extreme as they were for the mainstream I was just kind of like whatever. This is my favorite thing ever though, the dude jerking off his boner nose cracks me up every time

You may not care for the music but the musicianship is there. Their new drummer, Eloy is fucking sick!

one of my buddies I grew up with was a drummer. When Slipknot hit, Joey is all I ever heard about, lol.

Eloy is on another level.

Ya they are huge
They are a legacy band at this point

I thought it was interesting that he said he really didn't like the K100s that much alone, but used them so the bass would stay together live at loud volumes.

Though it's true what they say (hard to mike, needs to be pushed) i still have to find a "better" Speaker yet. It's my Speaker of choice in my MF400B since over 20 years. The Cab outlived all the others i had.
