Anyway you can provide access to a google drive like Jim did so I can copy what you have or let me know how I can get what you have?
Instead of sending a PM with that link to everyone who's asking I might as well post it here but I didn't have the time to go through it completely. Some issues are duplicates and I don't know how it differs from Jim's link because I don't know what he uploaded and this is what I've archived over the years until today. Size of my archive is 13-14 gb.

Thanks again to you guys that are sharing, and everyone that helped. These magazines are awesome.

Do you have any Guitar World mags from the 80's? I can only see 1980, then it jumps to the 1990's...

This is awesome.

Thanks. Only way to keep this stuff alive is to keep passing it on long after the print copies disappear.

Doesn't look like Guitar World even offer a subscription with access to every back issue. Idiots.

Speaking of sharing these magazines.. Does anyone have PDFs and the audio for Total Guitar or Guitar Techniques? I used to love these because of the high quality backing tracks on CD. But they were really expensive.

I just noticed that Guitar World now owns both of these magazines it appears. Looks like they have killed off Total Guitar but are still selling Guitar Techniques for a decent price with the CD. Much cheaper than it was before but probably because they are not made in the UK anymore and I am in the US

It seems this is where I wound up when I was on their site:
https://www.magazinesdirect.com/az-...uOdeLRI5bMr_92uhQOxoCOn8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
https://www.magazinesdirect.com/az-magazines/6936489/guitar-techniques-magazine-subscription.thtml
So, like $23 a quarter. Looks like they don't do yearly. I did find Total Guitar there too. Hopefully this is legit. At amazon Total guitar is $140 like it used to be when I subscribed back in the early 2000s.

Thanks man

Thanks Jim! Can anyone point me in the direction of scans of the *other* mags. I'm particularly keen on old issues of Guitar School, Maximum Guitar & Guitar for the Practising Musician. They have such generic names that searching gets too many garbage results.

I don't know what this data dump consisted of but I've several gigabytes of Guitar World PDFs from 1980 up to this year, so are you looking for anything in particular?

I am new to the forum and was wondering how I can access your GW magazines at this URL?

I absolutely love guitar world . I even have an attic filled with every single issue and doubles of lots . You’re right about the columns . So good
Yep, had every issue starting with the EVH issue in 1984 until about 2008ish. Also tons of Guitar Player, Guitar for the Practicing Musician and all the others at the time but Guitar World was always my favorite. Had them in year by year cases. I got rid of most of them several years back and only kept my favorite's. Very small collection now, probably less than 50.

They sorta looked like these. The magazines holder I could squeeze 12 in there easily for the year and the actual metal cabinets were deeper than the one pictured but this is the general idea. I got the metal cabinet from a school that was just tossing stuff out. Had it setup in my garage.
