I wouldn't mind one of Hetfield's white explorer's... actually, that would be awesome. Realistically, I want one of the ESP snakebyte explorers, and a Dean "far beyond driven" ML, the one with the braziliaburst maple top and the kiss sticker, USA custom shop made version of course.

I'd love Mick Mars' Strat someone posted above. I've always fancied a Sunburst LP and a red BC Rich Mockingbird since Slash was the person who inspired me to play in the first place, but I've never even owned a Les Paul copy.
All my nicest guitars are Parkers (Fly Mojos/Nitefly/MIDI Fly/Southern Fly), so I'd kinda like one of the DragonFlies (aka MaxxFly now due to copyright issues), and a proper early original Fly to "complete the set" as it were. I've probably got enough Parkers for now! So the reality of what I'd *actually* buy next is probably a PRS.
Can't buy anything new at the moment though as I'm still paying off this bad boy...

That is very cool. Spitz is one of my favorite player. I met him on the reunion tour and he was very, very nice and talked gear for a lot longer than he had to.Hell of a guy. Did you personally get permission from him to use the TMNT graphics?neilli":cujfgn49 said:

Yeah, he was one of my favourites too - I hope he gets something going with his career, cos it's all been a bit ragged since the re-union finished. But no, at that time I didn't have to get permission from him for Jackson to build it, just from the TMNT owners. It's the last 'artist replica' guitar they built without getting permission from the artist though. I put together a (terrible) website detailing Danny's guitars and I think he saw it - I had some email back and forth with him a few years ago. I was hoping he'd be able to get the original guitar back out of the HRC but he didn't seem interested in that, even when I offered to make a sizable charitable donation as well as paying him for it.
