Dear white peoples….learn to use some fuckin seasoning…after being trained to cook by gangster ass black dudes for over 22 years in a federal prison….if you think you put to much stuff in the gravy…you didn’t…shake that bottle some more. I’m officially ruined for anyone else cooking for me. My daughter in law cooked her first thanksgiving meal yesterday…she did really great….if you are on a bland diet. Went to the in-laws today…it was delicious….if you consider hot water seasoning….guys..get in there and throw down…fatboy style…stick your foot in it. Make that shit so good they’ll wanna shit in their mommas favorite frying pan….
 
I deconstruct my Turkey. Rub the breasts with herb and rub the legs more bbq rub Roast em outView attachment 266724
i do something similar. I cut the bird into essentially 2 big pieces - breasts and wing still connected, and thighs and legs still connected. basically cut in half in the middle of the back. That way I can cook my breast to 155-160 and pull it so it doesn't overcook while the dark meat finishes. Turns out much better than keeping it whole where your breast invariably overcooks waiting for dark meat to come up to temp.
 
Best Thanksgiving in years! Drove 3 hours to a best bros house in Lawton Oklahoma with the necessary pedals to turn his recto into a fire breather. He has never used a boost or a gate or a loop before. Set him up,dialed him in and watched him grin. Also sold him a guitar that we have traded back and forth at least 6 times in the past 13 years. It was a $3k+ guitar new and probably that much used now, but we've been swapping it back and forth for $1200 for well over decade. Drank like teenagers, laughed like old men and ate like kings. Attached is said guitar with my nuts on it. Dean Usa custom shop floyded Z, the first one they ever did when Dean first reopened under Elliott in 2004 or so.

What temperature do you cook it off to? The breast I like around 150-155….dark meat 160….that’s temperature in freedom units not Celsius….for all you sissy’s around the world…😂😜whole turkey is done and rested in less than two hours….
I go breast 150 and dark meat up to 170. I like that crispy skin on the dark.
