I remember when Rig Talk stayed on topic more. Replies were usually two sentences. It was more open to various types of music.

Now none of this happens and it is pretty much what The Gear Page is without the tan pants. If anything The Gear Page is more like Rig Talk was when it had much more active members years ago. Rig Talk is now a bunch of old codgers exactly like The Gear Page was years ago. The average age is younger at TGP and still has plenty of idiots.

the age demo is definitely swingin younger....this place used to be a safe space for 70s/80s music. not so much now, it's turning into a (nice imo) mix of sevenstring/TGPish

I’m not saying I think it, but it seems the perception from the outside looking in is RT is a bunch of older dudes trying to hold on to the 80s glory days, with shaved bald heads and goatees, an average BMI of 30+, and who post clips that are only centered around, “Will It Chug.” Ha.
