sorry to hear that about your amp. your problem is just as bad as mine. my channel 1 dies when the amp gets hot. tube replacement didn't do anything. midi chip and relay driver replacement didn't do anything either. duolos has my amp for about a week now, though i have not heard any updates from him. i did tell him i'll talk to him again after two weeks as i didn't want to bother him. i just hate to spend for shipping both ways and have the amp come back with the same problem.

good luck and hope you get it fixed. if you still have warranty and you can reasonably ship your amp you should get it checked...

Not that anything is wrong with my amps but I was just perusing the Diezel website and they want $95 per hour to work on amps that are out of warranty or not owned by the original owner. This has to be the doing of Terry Hicks :cop: originalownerpwnt

I sure hope you do not think those posts will negate the fact that a $5000 amp is not working. Also, you should go check some of my other posts in that thread as it seems you have more than enough time. Where I said it was a joke due to all the Diezel hate over there lately. Either way I have an amp that it not working properly and it fucking sucks. As of right now it is working okay and not cutting out though I know the problem is still there. I sure hope this is not how business is conducted with you guys. Something happens to an amp so then you go through their posts on other sites to see what you can dig up? I actually know for a fact that Terry has called people on the phone after reading their posts on a forum. That seems a bit of a stretch for a businessman. What do you think?

Dude, just post a picture of the cold solder joints from your amp and I'm sure you'll get some help/answers. It seems like you're just trying to start more trouble with this thread. You said you had a problem, Peter and Olaf are trying to help you out and you still haven't provided them with the information they need to help you. You're stalling.

Wait a second. I am not trying to start a damn thing. I am not the one who went off looking at my posts from OTHER sites. Sorry I did not get a chance to get those pictures last night. Like I said before the amp is running okay now and I am just going to leave it that way. I do not gig with this amp so as long as it is working at the house that is fine with me. If it gives me anymore trouble I am going to send it to Terry. And Dousie....$95/hour is alot but of course I will pay it if I cannot get the amp fixed.

I could not get those pictures last night but I can assure you it is not going to matter. I tapped those joints and they are not the problem. It is something else. You should change my thread title back to "amp still fucked." Just because I have it where it is playable does not mean that it is fixed Olaf. You know that. I am sure it will jsut do it again. I do not think after what I have seen here that I would even send this amp in to be fixed with you guys. The way you treat unhappy users leaves something to be desired. You can close this thread. I will find other avenues for getting my amp fixed

What do you want Olaf and Peter to do? They tried to help, but there's nothing they can do until the owner decides to post up a picture of the cold solder joints or send the amp in to get fixed. They are troubleshooting this guy's amp over the internet. It was suggested that it may be a tube problem, that didn't help, so it was suggested the owner post up a picture of the "problem," as claimed. If there are cold joints or some other damage, the owner has to pay to get it fixed since the amp is not under warranty.
