It was a long time ago now, thinking about it. I think I was around 18 when HCAF died, I'm 33 now. Damnnnnnn.

Wheres that dude that brought like a 50u rack rig and three halfstack Marshalls to his bar gigs?!

Man, I think I joined HC officially in '01. HC was GREAT until it got Anderton'd in like '12 or '13. After that, Billy started up Guitar Gear Forum (formally Guitar Amp Forum), and the mass exodus from HC landed us at GGF and here on RT. Good times.

Never been there. Before my time.
Think the first forum I joined was the MTS forum. Lot of great dudes. I got swindled out of $150 by some member. But he screwed a lot of people. Then disappeared.

I remember those days and miss them a lot. Loved it when it was at it's peak.

I was hoping this place would grow into what HCAF was back in the day.

It had it's share of nutjobs, but a lot of knowledge too.

Fond memories of learning and laughing my ass off.

Miss it a lot.
