Everyone is on a learning curve trying to figure out the best way to use this stuff the best way possible man

I just spent 36 hours trying to update the firmware on a kemper, lol

I just have never noticed anything weird about the volume of those, in any way, so it immediately gets my thinking cap on
Yeah maybe what it is......

Is that usually when you try the units at a store they are used on a a cheap SS amp. So when you plug into a tube amp it's probably a bit trickier to dial in given the power amp reacts differently depending on output where vs with an SS amp it kind of doesn't really matter.

A lot of the times I tried a Boss or a Headrush it's been into an SS amp and that time I tried the Helix it was through a Deluxe Reverb......

Either way definitely need to revisit because Yeah have tried the Axe Fx stuff and agree it's amazing and short of that the Line 6 stuff is phenomenal IME given the reverbs and overall tone. I like the delays and chorus on the Boss stuff but the reverbs and Amp models on the Line 6 stuff are probably nicer and I can rig jig the modulations to my liking....... the rotary speaker emulation on the Line 6 are nicer too.

Haven't tried a multi fx in a while but with a 112 Princeton and happy but wanting more options tone wise it kind of makes sense to check out a decent multi fx unit vs chasing more tone dragons and kind of mix my pedals with the digital. Also the cab models should be awesome to use on the Princeton and open the door to a lot of stuff with that alone aside from the amp models.

But some of those chorus and delays on the Boss stuff like the SDE or analog delays or dimension chorus tones.....

The Boss amp models sounded pretty decent last time I tried too.

But the reverbs on the Line 6 and their equally as good amps in general...... and that Leslie sound they have.

But yeah aside from the BS once dialed in plugged into a Deluxe Reverb...... I used this one multi head-atomic delay or whatever and a plexi type amp or something......

The Helix was pretty insane and it was pretty amazing and I do remember that and it actually sounded better than some Axe FX stuff I played through an SS rig or as good.....

So what am I complaining about right :dunno:

Honestly aside from the tones in the GT1000 what really impressed me was trying the 200 series.......

The OD200 was pretty amazing and a big eye opener into the new modeling and tech. Each one of the Models sounded indistinguishable from the real pedals and you can do more thanks to the parameters and functions.

The MD200 was stupid impressive too and the delays as well, not as whacky as some of the Line 6 ones but friggin phenomenal. The Reverbs could be better and Line 6 has those down but overall the analog feel from the digital in the MD200 and especially the OD200 were a game changer.

Cool thing on the MD200 is I think you can go in and mess with parameters on Dimension Chorus tones that you couldn't do otherwise and they are legit Dimension tones too and the OD200 where I was really impressed was with the Fuzz Face and RAT models. They sounded pretty much identical to the real things and behaved as such too.

Haven't really sat down with a GT1000 for a long time but yeah the 200 series really make me giddy about spending quality time with a 1000.
