help picking a diezel amp

Nej fattar att de blir lökigt att åka så långt bara för att spela. Men min ärliga åsikt är att Herbert är helt enkelt bättre. Du kommer ÄLSKA midcut funktionen. Slipknot + Metallica + In Flames sound like an interesting mix! Do you have anything recorded with your band and what's the name of your band?
Slipknots newest album is one of my candidates for album of the year (after our own of course :D )

Yeah it´s turning out to be pretty good songs....since it´s a totally new band there are no songs recorded yet, but it´s just a matter of time. We´re still discussing bandname but I thínk we´ve got it narrowed down now ;)

Seriously though, I guess the Herbert will actually be the better choice for your style of music. :)

And no, Metallicas sound is not very metal in the way I think metal sounds. The black album has a very tight sound but the following records have all been big disappointments both sound- and songwise :cry:

Perhaps the VH-4 is perfectly capable of delivering the sound I have in my head, but since I haven't heard any clips that suggests that I'm playing safe and will go for a herbert.
Actually when I compare Line6 emulations for VH-4 and Herbert I think the VH-4 wins due to the fullness of the mids, but I can't buy an amp based on an emulation... but I have been tempted...
 
I really don't want to make this about Metallica, but man, they have about the sickest sound possible...

Hahahaha!! Not at all, I love the guy and DODGE went really well when we where at our peak. But the interest started to fade and at the end I´ve gotten us a showcase for SONY/BMG...and the rest of the band didn´t even care. So we put the band on hold. Maybe we´ll start playing again someday :)
