Now I´m the bad boy and state that we don´t recommend
dummy loads.
 
Me too! ;) They are ok for some AC30´s, Plexis and other vintage amps, but not for amps like Diezels are.

Never Played Herbert at bedroom level? It sounds awesome! There is no need to buy a Hotplate. Save the money and get yourself a Diezel Cab. Thats what I do at the moment.
