Herbert hissing on all channels

Weird, I started a thread about the very same thing a while ago :doh: could it be a whole hum-trimmer batch defective??

Sorry to hijack your thread. but If all volumes are at noon, is it normal that the chan 1 hums more than chan 2+ and 3 ?!!? (both gain around 2 o'clock)
 
Don´t want to be arrogant but let´s start from the beginning:

Is the guitar volume closed or open ?
