herbert works perfect with peterson stroborack.
btw the most accurate tuner on this planet.

Is the midi controller just in a socket? Just wondering because I may need this fix....

(how many things to take apart to access the chip to be replaced ?)

just a tought now...

the guide suggest to remove the chassis this way:

3. Carefully pull the chassis out of the housing (watch out the tubes !). Best way to do so is if the Amp stands on the fl oor and the chassis is pulled out at the two transformers.


could that stress the transformers? i mean pulling it out gripping the chassis by the transformers, could this apply a stress-little damage to them or the amp?
 
No problem at all. The transformers are mounted with thick and sturdy screws. :thumbsup:
