now if only chrome chassis rectos werent stupidly priced id have one just like this- not spending 5k all in just because it looks super cool

Man his stuff cleans up well with volume knob. Fascinating. Is he using Eventide Eclipse in these clips?

Amp sounds killer! That lead tone is especially sweet..
Even the rolled off clean bluesy stuff sounded great.
My benchmark DR tone is always Ty Tabors on the Dogman album. :inlove:
Sure would like to get me a Henric, one of the few things left on earth I regularly have GAS for.
Henric's playing keeps getting better.. I thought he was really good the first time I heard him years ago, but he's one of those guys who always has more under the hood than he's laying on the table.

This is a true statement. The amp is fully altered without question or argument that can logically be applied.
Ref F might be most overated imo . It’s good . But I just didn’t feel magic .

Then boost it and I don't mean to imply that it would make it sound like the amp that it is now.

This is kind of where I lie with it - I’d rather the donors for these mods were either a current production amp that doesn’t have finite numbers left, or just build it from the ground up.

The mods make it so far removed from where it originally starts (and are destructive/non-reversible) that it seems a bit mad to donor something rare/with limited numbers.

Sure the owner will be happy with it for now, but if they find themselves wanting a stock Rev F again it just drives the price up even more for one.

i agree, his amps all sound pretty similar regardless of what the donor amp is, not sure id want to do that to a rev F if i could get similar tones with something else

I have a chrome Hermansson and used one of the reissue ones from 2010. A lot cheaper thankfully.

Cleans up amazing and high gain sounds Awesome.

What's the 2nd guitar you used and what pickups does it have ? Really liked the way it sounded.
