Don’t think it fell on deaf ears.It's never been a defence in a court of law to say, "... but what about what he / she did / said?". It won't work with kindergarten teachers, it's never worked worked with parents and it won't work here.
A simple acknowledgement of your errors would've sufficed mate.
Be thankful I'm still applying a "crossover" mentality to these things for the sakes of those who're slow on the uptake and not issuing forced hiatuses.
