Nice!!! I really like the green.. But i think it does look a little off with the silver over the knobs. If you made that part with black with the green on top

Do you mean the amp itself? Because none of the knobs in the Diezels in this thread are silver

If you do the green grill you should switch the LED's out for green one's. I think someone should blue anodize their grills and metalize the Diezel logo with silver paint or have a buddy who is good with CNC's machine an aluminum one.

Yeah man! Again, I probably wouldn't be able to do that myself but I'd like green LEDs too... don't know how hard that is to do... and they'd HAVE to be as bright as the normal blue ones.

Dude, that looks AMAZING. I'd "green-face" my VH4 like that in a heartbeat

It might look better on the VH4 the other way around - like the blue faced ones but green (on the control area as opposed to the tube protector/cover part.)

i dont really like the green one, but DAMN the silver frontplate is always making my jeans a "tent", you know... :D

Nah... I think the silver looks too much like the diamond amps.
Green or blue rock the casba though

Just phoning a firm to get a price, how much do you guys think this should cost?

Have just phoned 2 local companies about doing it and have a few different possibilities:

1 Can get it exactly like this.

2 Metallic.

3 Similar green to this but glow in the dark - apparently it'll look very impressive in the dark but not so much so maybe during the day.

4 Candy finish - where it looks really deep/glossy but = a lot more costly.

5 Heat colour changing - where it's a tube amp - tubes heat up, voilà! Different colour.

I think I'm going to get the heat changing one on the back - not sure what 2 colours they offer though, and a candy green or metallic front.

Yeah i mean the actual amp itself or the faceplate on it ( Not sure if its removeable or not ) Not the knobs  Ive always liked the green/black color scheme.

Bump.

This finish is being done upon my Herbert verrryyy soon.

We're just dilemaing whether or not mixing a glow in the dark paint would work with such a finish ;)

Dunno whether gitd paint is necessary. Do it, but only if it won't affect the daylight finish.

Yeah man  S'powder coat, not paint though :student: but just got an email saying they're going to do me a sample next week to see if the candy finish would blend well with it  S'going to utterly rule either way.
