How about some Joe Walsh and Michael Landau…

That's cool but kind of crazy since anyone could have played that. I always liked Joe, I was a big James Gang fan way, way before.
 
I realize it’s not the music we like or play, but I was surprised to read both Joe and Mike played on this song. Joe played on another song from this album as well. This song (and the other) went really high on the charts in 90/91.

Goes to show you the versatility of real musicians.
 
Landau played on most of their songs, they were good friends back in the day..
 
Joe Walsh is one of my favorite players. I saw the eagles play like a year ago and Walsh is still brutally cutting it strict. He opens up the workshop.

Waiting to get tickets for their farewell tour. If you haven’t seen the eagles play, DO IT!! It’s worth it!! Walsh was playing a Charvel last show I saw them.

He walks into the Nashville GC frequently apparently and one time he walked in there and a young new guy walked up to him as he was checking an amp or something out and just started chatting him up with the usual “what kind of tone are you looking for”/“do you want me to help you dial it in”…pretty hilarious
 
I will gladly admit, I think that is a great song and I like it.
I listen to all music.
If it sounds good to me I like it.
To me good music is timeless.
Music can bring you back to a special place in time.
Cool collaboration for sure.

this song was on at the supermarket the other day when i was in the cereal isle unable to decide which to go with, i ended up with apple jacks

The “sitting/singing on the beach scene” in this tune reminds me of the spice girls when they used to sing on stage on a blanket; looking all provocative and what not. My guess is that wouldn’t fly today.

i think you're right, they actually have clothes on, in todays world of instagram models and tiktok they would never allow that

All you need to do is add some growling and boost the tempo to about 200bpm, instant hit on this forum.

Walsh & Tim Schmit played on Dirty Laundry by Henley too.

Danny Kortchmar

Schmit and Joe Walsh, two of Henley's bandmates of the Eagles. Walsh performs the first guitar solo, followed by Steve Lukather of the band Toto; the guitar basic tracks are played by Danny Kortchmar who also helped Henley compose this song.

Tim Pierce played guitar on Bon Jovi's debut "Runaway" At that point JBJ didn't even have a band yet.

Tone Loc's "Wild Thing" uses an unaccredited sample of VH "Jamies crying" for guitar.



And .... SRV played the lead in Bowie's "Lets Dance".
