The current wait time is about 3-4 months I believe.

Guess I should get on the list now! I will have enough to buy one in that time frame :D

It comes with 2 modules brand new right?

That all depends on how much you are willing to pay me.

Haha I can wait :D Just want to plan it right so I have enough funds when my amp would actually be available. Is it best to just order from the Egnater website? Now to figure out what modules..

Typically I'd say order from the dealer closest to you, (I'm one of those "support your local dealer" guys) but there are only a handful of dealers and none of them actually stock their product. The best way to order is to use the order form on the Egnater website. Jeff will contact you with the details.

Oh, and whatever modules you get, make sure one of them is the EG5!

I'd just call the egnater shop and order it direct. Its what I have done :). And I have 6 modules, a M4, a Mod50, and another Mod50 on order ;).

Jeff is awesome to work with :)...

Does ordering require a deposit?

No, you're just put on the list. If you can't pay when your amp is ready, they go down to the next person on the list.

Its been a month wait for me, and I have switched my order like 3 times. I am in a similair situation, selling some gear to make way for the Mod 50, but I am almost ready, and can't wait to get the call. I hope its sooner then later.

believe me ...you won't be disapointed :). The best 2 features...are easily swappable tubes (both pre and power tubes) and the swappable modules!!!

Forget the tone!!! Who cares about tone ;).

Eric

Anyone want to recommend me some modules. Just looking to cover some other tonal area other than the amps I have right now. Using a Elmwood M90 and a Mako Mak2 right now :D I was thinking one module for cleans that I cant cover with these amp Bman or T/D any recommendations on a second module? Also for those who have tried the Bman or T/D which one do you prefer to get more bluesy tones out of it, SRVish tones

Definitely Bman for SRV. its also a great warm clean channel. If you want more shimmery, do T/D. More chimy, do Vx.

For high gain, go either SL2 (hot rodded JCM 800) or EG5 (SLO/XTC)

Bman / EG5 is my default combo and is almost always in my MOD 50.

I'm currently on the waiting list as well. Probably about two weeks now, although it seems like so much longer. Jeff told me about three months. I am getting the Bman and the EG5. I think that combo is about the best all around you can go with. The Bman sounds great on the cleans and can get you the JMP type marshall tone as well on channel 2. EG5 can come close to the SL2 and do so much more on the higher gain end. I'm pretty excited. Congrats on taking the step towards a MOD50!

See, I'd go for the T/D for SRV stuff, but that's me. I LOVE the sparkle and spank the T/D gives me. Add the verb tank in the parallel efx loop with a tube screamer of some kind, and I was hitting SRV all day long ;).

Eric

On a quick play test with the T/D, I thought the Twin clean was too bright and ice picky for my taste. However the Deluxe B channel was smoking. I would see if they have just a deluxe module. But I switched my order to a Bman, so excited to try that one out
