you ever played a twin? they've reproduced the twin sound nearly perfectly! so if anyone has played a twin, its right on.
I don't know how it could be ice pickey honestly, I've never felt that at all. bright...a twin was bright , so I expect this to be bright too!!!
for those whole like Eric Johnson's clean tones.... that's the clean tone from the Twin that you'll get. With my lexicon mpxg2 verb / delay ...and compressor....and my vht 2/90/2 w/ 6550s the twin has uber amount of depth and tone. but that's me . i'm more into a shimmering, sparkly, very deep sounding clean tone (ala EJ).
So for those who want that type of tone, go for the T/D. the bassman is a killer module too though.
On a side note, what guitar / cab / speakers did you play it through?
