On a quick play test with the T/D, I thought the Twin clean was too bright and ice picky for my taste. However the Deluxe B channel was smoking. I would see if they have just a deluxe module. But I switched my order to a Bman, so excited to try that one out

you ever played a twin? they've reproduced the twin sound nearly perfectly! so if anyone has played a twin, its right on.

I don't know how it could be ice pickey honestly, I've never felt that at all. bright...a twin was bright :), so I expect this to be bright too!!!

for those whole like Eric Johnson's clean tones.... that's the clean tone from the Twin that you'll get. With my lexicon mpxg2 verb / delay ...and compressor....and my vht 2/90/2 w/ 6550s the twin has uber amount of depth and tone. but that's me :). i'm more into a shimmering, sparkly, very deep sounding clean tone (ala EJ).

So for those who want that type of tone, go for the T/D. the bassman is a killer module too though.

On a side note, what guitar / cab / speakers did you play it through?

Eric

Yep, I am usually VERY impatient so don't be surprised if I just jump on a used MOD 50 when I come up with the money

Played it with a PRS using different pickup positions using an Egnater 4x12 tourmaster cab I think. I find most fenders ice picky, so you are correct in saying that its sounds like a fender. Just to bright for my taste, and certain notes just peirce ya, at least with what I tried it on. I kinda felt the same listening to some of the twin clips, so there ya go, just not my taste. I did however love the Bsman clips I have heard.

I liked the deluxe side of it, just didn't love the bright cleans.

so that I don't start another thread about it...I vaguely remember reading something that at egnater they were backup up for a bit on some parts they would get in april, but after that they would be producing them at faster pace, so hopefully reducing the wait times? I don't want to put words in anyone's mouth, so I want to ask if I'm completely off the mark on that. If so, would the wait times still be 3-4 months?
