It's pointing out that you can't have a vacuum environment next to a pressurized system without a solid gas impermeable barrier. ...Except in the Earth's atmosphere of course.

ah ok so the flat earthers think there's a magical glass dome or something.
 
Once you leave the planet, there is a feeling of disconnect. I thought of an umblical cord disonnecting.
