Why? 80% of tone is speaker , i use the same speaker as Adam Jones use...
80% Of the tone is in your balls and you sound like you have a Vagina. Seriously though, 80% of tone is in the hands/playing, the other 20% is using good gear not something you bought in a back alley in Brazil.

What makes you think my equipment isn't good? Yeah my cab it's not 4x12 , but this amp very good, I personally know the guy who makes these amplifiers , i know what schematics , components, tubes he used. On rehearsal zone , i compare original rectifier and «crab» rectifier, and crab rectifier was better, because crab use 1Mom gain pot instead 250Kom , and this makes sound really cooler. He made really good quality amps.

Interesting that they're using toroidal transformers on many models, and I don't see chokes on any of them.
He buys special transformers to order.
If you are interested, you can write to him on Instagram , facebook, telegram.

The Cab is the part i was most concerned with. a 1x12 will not move the same air.

It's true, but i think for home 1x12 is cool. I want buy 2x12 (vintage 30 + k100 ). But now I have no money for cab, because i bought a bass guitar)

I think closed oversight 1x12 it's not bad, my cab it's quite deep for 1x12. I made it closed for more bass responses

That sounds really cool. Something catchy about the “Crab Rectifier”. I want one

If you want to take something unique from a crab I would recommend rock master (it's moded engl e530) or brown cat (it's modded Marshall jcm800) it's his own projects amps

I checked out his YouTube page. He makes some decent amps. Where is he located?
As far as Tool goes, I would use the Vintage gain/orange setting. Medium gain, a slight boost out front to shape it, give it a little more top end and then just be dynamic with the right hand. Considering his foundation amp is a Marshall Super bass, I wouldn’t go crazy with gain. It’s more about the midrange voice and grunt.

Thank you for advice. Crab is located in Ukraine (me too)

Being that it’s a clone and he may have done his own thing with it, advice based on the actual amp could be unreliable. Just trust your ears. Doesn’t matter what the setting is, if you feel or hear that it’s there.
