Yep. HS is my fave combo as well. Getting ready to move a strat now because of the volume knob placement and the middle pickup. Both get in my way with how I play.

Love HS. I wish it was a little more common, but I guess that's what push/pulls are for. I just wire my HH guitars so that the neck humbucker is automatically split on the down position. I've been through a few HS guitars and I've got a few HS guitars on order. Here's some pics I could dig up of some stuff I owned or still own.

Love that Cali! That's the whole vibe I was going for. That and Chubtones old original white Charvel that he aged. I've still got that image saved on my desktop. I've since dropped a Tone Nerd Wicked 8 in the bridge.

Reminds me of my all time number one that like a fool I sold...my late 80's ESP Horizon. Binding had aged, color was "nanner" as you called it but damn what a guitar. I literally cannot fathom that I got rid of that guitar. I just shake my head in shame and wonderment as to how I came to the conclusion to sell that guitar at the time.
