I agree, but honestly there's a couple modern players that have pieces of it. Just no one has the complete package.
Luka Doncic is by far and away, the only cold blooded, ice-in-his-veins clutch assassin in the game. It isn't even close to anyone modern, so by default you have to compare him to Kobe and Jordan. He's a legitimate murderer of franchises, and has stolen the soul of like 4 teams so far. To the point where they've all blown up their rosters after he destroyed in the playoffs. He's a low effort defender though at times, partly because his conditioning is atrocious - which when you're carrying trash ass teams through the season and playoffs every year, he just runs out of gas. If he starts taking his body seriously, he's already on a trajectory where he could get close.
Ant has the athleticism and the defense, for sure. He has nowhere near the competitive fire, basketball (or life, lol) intelligence, or skills though, at least for now. I think he can grow as far as his fundamentals and offensive game, and maybe get close too; but he's nowhere near the competitor he would need to be to get there. And the BBIQ he's kind of fucked on I think. That seems to be something you're born with.
It's crazy though, because if you just heard zoomers talk about LeBron you would think he's Jordan PLUS magic, when he's more like Scottie Pippen plus Karl Malone. A skilled, petulant ass baby who chokes in the clutch and compiles stats.

Love Luka. I even think LBJ might be one of, or even "the" most physically gifted of all of them. He isn't the assassin Jordan was though. I remember no one would even talk smack to Jordan, you could literally see the fear in defenders eyes. When teammates get mad at you for talking smack...

It's sad because LBJ is a perfect example of how if you don't work on the mental aspect of the game, you will just NEVER have the success Jordan, Bird, Kobe, etc did. MFers were like serial killers. It's a weird combination seeing Luka get traded to the Lakers because he already has the one ingredient LBJ never had. Maybe LeBum will hook him up with some good steroids and we will see some greatness, because he already has the intangibles.

LBJ even stops charging the rim in the clutch because he's dogshit McAss at shooting free throws, which was inexcusable even early in his career, and as time went on it got worse - MFer is either too lazy to practice, or his asshole gets tight because the lights are shining bright
