Clips or your in hellrichedie":iljeq8jq said:After having my VHT for a few weeks now....it is way more responsive than the Egnater and the clean is to die for. This thing has exceded my expectation. One beast of an amp. Sounds like a much, much improved Marshall. Sort of like a blend of a Plexi and JCM 800 with much better lows and better growl. I am in amp heaven.

This amp is a great choice for anyone looking for a big plexi sounding amp with some major improvements. I think the lows are better than a plexi, a little bit meaner too. Sounds better than a plexi at lower volumes to my ears. Still have to get it above 9:00, unlike the Egnater. The amp has less gain than any of my Mod 50 dirt modules, as it has less gain stages. You have to get it up past 9:00 and pushed a bit to get the fat. Below that, it can sound thin. Needless to say, this is not my low volume, home use amp. At practice, it is scary good. The amp is very wide, fat, 3-D and full sounding. The clean is one of the best I have heard on an amp. Takes pedals very, very well. Kind of has my Mod 50 sweating a bit, LOL. I had it at practice and the drummer commented that my sound had gotten larger. This should be interesting.
I will try to get clips eventually!
