Doctor Love
I'm almost 1000 years old and believe it or not, I've never played a Schecter!! Never touched one. Never lived near a store that carried Schecter nor jammed with anyone who had one.
But now my favorite local music store, Earle Teat Music in Delmar Delaware, carries them - So I'm super stoked to get my hands on this ugly/beautiful Custom Solo II in a burl maple finish! Everyone raves about Schecter and their terrific workmanship. Can't wait to share my experience with you!

Remember when spalted tops were all the rage? Never understood that. Looks kinda cool I guess…it’s rotten wood though. Do they epoxy the bad spots or what?

A Schecter? A company that has been in business for 40 years? I'm glad you used 3 exclamation points in the title! :ROFLMAO:

Due to the pickups or the guitars being, well, not a Les Paul?
No, it was almost like it was too perfect. I didn't gel with the big frets either but the pickups were great and split fairly well

Wait until you see that fucking blackmachine with spalted top. Spectacular. Still haunts me to this day. And that wasn’t a burl, like this Schecter.
