Been playing her at low volume in my office at home. Wife left for the day and I rolled her out to our 2 story living room where she had plenty of air to move. Sounds awesome at low volume.....sounds beyond awesome cranked!!!!! What an amp!

Yeah I did this a couple days ago as well with my new 5153 2x12 combo. Loving it much more than the 50w head + matching 2x12 cab I had!

Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers...I've had 2 50 watt heads..nice amps for sure. For you guys that have the combos, what makes them better sounding than the heads? When you run it through a 4x12, are they still better sounding than the 50 watt heads? I'm curious as to the differences....

OK...scenario...you just got a 'free new amp' coupon( )....money is no object, you can buy any new amp you want, you just have to keep it and not re-sell for profit( ). Any Diezel, Peters, Mesa, Rhodes, Friedman, Bogner, Soldano, Marshall etc etc.....you guys really would choose the EVH? And yes you can include the Stealth...

I've owned amps out of all those amp makers except the Rhodes and Peters plus ones you haven't listed..... yes the 5150 III is the one I'd go get. It's not perfect however no amp is and this amp has a great tone and the functionality I need.

Cool! Yeah I've had 2, the first one with a VM cab (G12C greenbacks) sounded great. Sold it.....last summer tried one again but with the matching EVH cab...liked the VM cab better with it. But that cab was long gone...really a great value new or used. Gonna be interesting to hear the 25 watt EVH and then the EL34 amp when it comes out..

I just met the guitar amp in general each of them have their different flavors the combo sounds a little more smooth move I think it's because of the speaker the hundred watt head sounds a little bit more clean due to the headroom the 50 what has a little bit more grit and the stealth is probably pure heaven. All of them are very consistent and that amp is the best sounding guitar amp on the market right now. I'd put it up against my old Mark 5 the Roads Gemini I or any new amps that have come out and last year and been consistently kicking ass. I'm speaking specifically of the sound not build quality or customer service or any of those factors.

Like I said, they sound great. But if I had a choice of anything I wanted new, just one amp, I'd probably pick one of these..Bogner Helios, SLO, Friedman BE or JJ, or maybe a Peters....but I will always say that EVH amps are probably the best bang for the buck out there.
